Synth

A little loop machine with chunky knobs and faders. Four faders play four notes over and over: slide one up for a higher note, down for a lower one. Tap the screen to start, and press the red knob to keep a loop playing while you make another on top.

Drag a knob up or down (or use the scroll wheel or arrow keys) to turn it. Tap anywhere on a fader's slot to jump there. Pressing the red knob keeps the loop as it sounds now, in its instrument, playing underneath (up to four; the dots on the screen count them), so you can change the faders and instrument and build on top. Hold it, or use Clear layers, to start over. With the keyboard: Enter on the red knob keeps, Delete clears. Every fader position is a note in the chosen scale, so it always sounds nice. Inspired by a synth built for a three-year-old. Sound by Tone.js. On iPhone, turn off silent mode to hear it.
